ग्रीन ईग्वाना

ग्रीन ईग्वाना मध्य और दक्षिण अमेरिका में मिलते हैं। नर का सिर बडा होता हैं। गर्दन और पीठ के उपर बडे कॉंटे होते हैं। सिर के ऊपर भुरे रंग की हलकी झलक दिखती हैं।शिशु अवस्था में वे किटक खाते हैें एवं वयस्क होने के पश्चात पूरी तरह से शाकाहारी हो जाते हैं।

Green iguana

Males have better developed crests and larger heads with splashes of orange. The green iguana is widely distributed in tropical rain forests of Central and South America. The young mainly feed on insects while the adults are exclusively vegetarian.
