Valentine is a day which is celebrated all over the world as symbol to express our love. Valentine's Day began as a liturgical celebration one or more early Christian saints named Valentinus. In the Europe and USA valentine day is a public holiday and everyone enjoys and celebrates this day to express their love with his partner. You know that in our day to day life we can’t get much time to stay with our loved ones. So to keep our love fresh and healthy everyone should express it as and when possible. In many countries like Saudi Arabia, Pakistan and in some parts of India, Valentine day is not celebrated because it is related with the Christians but I think the main reason behind the oppose to the valentine day is the youth from Hindu and Muslim religion are blindly following the western and American culture and there are so many Hindu youth who never read the shrimad bhagavad geeta, they don’t know anything from the Hindu religion, they never worshiped God but these youth follows the American culture as if they are Christian. So I think oppose to the Christian event Valentine day by Hindu and Islamic religion is totally correct and without which these two religions may becomes very weak in the future. One of the very adverse effects of American culture on Hindu religion is the increasing number of live in relationship cases. I think we all have to respect all the religions in the world but everyone should follow and respect their own religion by their heart. I am not going in to the details of these issues here.
I think we can celebrate the valentine day not only with our girlfriend or boy friend but we can celebrate the valentine day with our loved ones such as our parents, friends, relatives, pets and everyone who is directly and indirectly involved with us. The valentine day will gives a chance to express our sincere thanks those who helps and love us but due to today’s life we can’t thank them in return. So I am calling the valentine day a thanks giving day on which we can increase our love and relations with our friends and family members.
So from my point of view if I ever got chance to celebrate the valentine day then I will give a great surprise to my wife. Before the 14thof February I will not tell her anything about the celebration which will hold for her. I will behave normally until the 14th and on the morning I will wake up early in the morning before my wife wake up. Then I am going to keep one gift in the empty tea cup in tray in front of my wife. Once she open her eyes and see the cup, initially she becomes happy that I have made tea for her then once she come near to the cup and lift it up then she understands that the cup is not having the tea but something wrapped in it. So she becomes very happy and when she opens the wrapping then a very beautiful gold ring with a pink heart shaped diamond comes out of the wrapping. I know that she becomes very happy by this beautifully arranged valentine day.
